Happy Birthday Daddy/Hurrican Ike/Bug Update

Happy Birthday Pat! Today is his 39th birthday. Thanks to the stomach bug he is home from work and here with us. So, we gave him his presents to open already. Due to being under the weather (literally and figuratively) we need to get to the store to be able to make him a cake today!

Here are the kids outside yesterday morning. If they look a little out of is - well they still are from time to time. We are supposed to only be in the 80's all week! YEAH! Finally. But, right now it's only 60 and Sean is (as always) begging to go outside!

Here he is either saying Airplane or Uh - Oh?! I don't remember which.
















Since Daddy had moved everything around preparing for the effects of Hurricane IKE - Hadley is standing by our chairs and table that are upside down on purpose. But, we only got a some wind and a little rain (less than 1/2 inch) - nothing like we thought we might/would. We are far enough North that as it moved East it missed us.

So, with all the open space on the patio they got to ride their cars and bikes outside yesterday.

It was too beautiful a day to put on the turtleneck shirt that goes under her uniform.

Mommy still has not gotten the bug other then being tired. Other neighbors have come down with it, so I guess we were not the last ones to get it. Today's play date was moved from house to two others and finally cancelled this morning.
