Friday, September 7th
Congrats to our neighbors, Mike & Sally. They welcomed their first little one into the world at 1:41 pm Friday. Shawn was small as was expected, but doing great. She weighs 4 lbs. 8 ozs and 17 3/4 inches long. We can not wait to meet her. They all came home Sunday afternoon. We hope to go down and visit today/Monday. We now have two Sean/Shawn's on the street. Both are named after their daddy. Another Jayhawk and Chiefs fan on the block! We went to Wal-Mart Fri. afternoon to buy ingredients to make my Great Aunt Hazel's favorite Chicken Casserole for them to enjoy when the arrive home.

Hmmm....that *is* a good recipe. Sounds good right now, actually! I'll have to see if I can find mine.
