I almost forgot all about coloring Easter Eggs this year until Pat said, so we should color eggs one night this week?!Luckily we had all the supplies we needed on hand.

Daddy was working hard and fixing our fence gate.
We had a rotted post that had to be pulled out of the ground and replaced.
It took him four nights working on it, borrowing a few things and a little help from a few neighbors, but he was able to take care of it all.So, while he was doing that one night.
I put the kids in the tub and in their jammies so we could color eggs after he came in at dark.

We only did 10 eggs as two of them cracked when I boiled them that afternoon.
It was plenty to have five each.
We got a little more adventurous than last year by coloring on them with crayons first.
But, other than that we stuck to one colored eggs.
They each had one with their name on it.
One with a D for Daddy and one with Mom on it.
The rest they just decorated.

When I asked for a picture of the two of them together......I got this awesome hug (or choke hold)!
We went with the bright & bold colors this year instead of pastel.
We had five colors, so having 10 eggs worked out well!
Then it was off to bed!
