No pictures for this, but wanted to advise how big we are these days! On Friday 2/12 in the snow we drove to the doctor's office. Most schools had been called off and it did not even cross my mind until almost there that they might be closed or opening late too.
Thankfully, they were open and not busy for our 9 am appointments. Hadley is a pro at going to any appointment. She will go with any nurse and do whatever is asked (if she understands the need/request).
Hadley's stats:
Height: 37 3/4 inches in the 90% for her gender & age
Weight: 31 lbs 8 ozs in the 75%
BMI: 16.3 at 75%
Her blood pressure was good.
They tried but were unable to do a hearing or vision test (might be because her brother was too distracting to understand what she was supposed to do and I was not available to be involved).
Sean's stats:
Height: 37 1/2 inches in the 80% for his gender & age
Weight: 31 lbs in the 50%
Not sure how we finally got either of these stats as he did not make it an easy task!
BMI: 15.5 at 27%
Also, good blood pressure.
And well, - yeah - no way on the hearing or eye tests.
However, once Dr. Evans came in they both did great. She was surprised at how Sean cooperated for the exam since she was expecting the worst after hearing about him getting his weight and height measured.
She asked if Sean ran all the time due to the muscles in his legs.
They both got one shot each (I had Sean go first in case he figured out what was going on and made it hard to get him on the table). He did complain his leg hurt the next day.
Oh and I almost forgot - at three they start collecting urine samples. Oh what fun that is with two kids and two cups! Enough said!
Overall, they are growing like weeds, healthy, happy, normal three year old boy & girl!
And we are VERY THANKFUL!
