2/11 & 2/12 - Snow Days in Texas

I know this is old news, but we had a snow day on Thursday, Feb. 11th. So, no school and no Valentine's party.

We decided to stay inside dry and warm as it was coming down ALL day and was not going any where any time soon. As usual - ignore our very dirty windows!
Daddy came home and wanted to see how much snow we had....this is 3.5 inches about 8 pm.

Late afternoon just to say we got out of the house we went to run two errands (both involved drive thrus) and to check out the snow.

There were many snow creatures in our neighborhood.
The next day we had an early morning appointment, so when we got home we decided it was time to have fun in the snow as it had finally stopped coming down.

Over 10 inches and 12 hours later.

A record snowfall in DFW. I had several people tell me it was good snow for making a man and telling me how to make one (they must have not known or remembered I am from Kansas)!

In a young neighborhood with limited trees we had to substitute golf clubs in place of tree limbs/sticks for arms.

We had a great snowball fight and Hadley would have stayed out longer, but I finally talked her into coming on inside!

We also drove around the neighborhood again and took pictures of almost 35 snow creatures for the HOA website and that was NOT even all of them!
