I don't have any pictures to go with this and not sure why I decided today was the day to add this on here, but back in Mid May we had an interesting night at our house.
Sean woke up at 12:45 am on Saturday morning screaming for Mommy. I got in his room and he was sitting up in bed crying. He asked for Daddy and water. I could tell he was hot, so we came downstairs for a drink and to check his temp. He was also shaking (my first time to experience this) and did have a 102 temp in both ears.
I was worried about him so we laid on the couch together and after a few minutes he threw up a little bit (the Motrin and the water), but he had been coughing. We continued to lay together and I had him all covered up hoping to break the fever since he probably did not get much Mortrin in his system.
He continued to talk and ask what things were (it was dark except for a nightlight in the kitchen). He told me there were Monkeys up there, what her doing?, what Dora doing?....all kinds of strange things. At one point he was real scared like something was going to get him and jumped up and turned over on top of me - that was really freaky. I then started asking questions - Dora did have Boots with her, but he did not say if she had her backpack. She/Dora was going down a slide and so was he/Sean. Yes, they were playing nice together. There is a tiger - he go down the slide too.
He calmed down and eventually went back to sleep as I stopped asking questions and told him to tell the monkeys good night and to close his eyes. At 2:30 am I put him back in bed sweating and did not hear any more out of him until after 8 am (he usually gets up at 6:30 am). He had no fever and seemed as if nothing ever happened.
When I asked him if he remembered being up with me he said yes, Carly & Beth were here. He had told me that "her" (in what was her doing) was like Carly & Beth when I had asked him what "her" was doing.
Does fever induce this kind of behavior? All very strange and had me wondering if my kid can see dead people?!
Turns out Pat used to have strange dreams when he was young. He and his Mom, Rose remember and brought them up after I told them about it. But, he did not have a fever during them.
None since then, but he is still young........

Very strange! I think I would've been freaking out a little too! Glad he hasn't had any more of these little spells :)
