Cake Decorating Class

Four weeks - one night a week from 7 to 9 pm at Michael's. Four of us decided to try our hand at cake decorating.

Here is my "tackle box" of supplies. Yes, that is Sean making a parking lot of cars amongst my icing.

Each week we had to bake a cake or cupcakes, make icing and decorate.

Here is the finished product from week 2 (week 1 we watched and took notes).

Roz finishing her clown cake week 3.

Amber was good with clowns seems that her twins boys might be having a clown birthday cake next month!

Just hope she puts flavoring in her icing, so the rest of us can eat it even if she does not want to. ;)

Karen's beautiful masterpiece.

I decided to do cupcakes, because I do not think I have EVER baked cupcakes.

Luckily I had enough frosting left over from the rainbow fun that I did not have to make any more, but I was tired of those colors!!

This past Wednesday was our fourth and final class.

Here are Roz and Amber hard at working make awesome Roses. I gave up after the second one. Hope there are no rose cakes in my future.

The girls and the final masterpieces.

I did graduate even though I did not decorate the top of my last cake.

We did enjoy eating them. The rest of this one is wrapped up and ready to get into the car to head to Florida with us!
