Outdoor Artwork

Yesterday we did not go to school after all. We did make a trip to the doctor. Just wanted to make sure we were okay before spreading it to everyone at school (if had not already).

When I called the school they said everyone else was there, so I take that as good news. But, this virus seems to have a long life and mind of it's own, so they could still get it. I asked the office to tell our teachers, so they could alert all the parents at pick up. The doctor did not tell us anything we did not already know.
So, after naps and getting Daddy's belated birthday dinner put together we went for a walk and then played outside. Sean can always find something to do outside and loves to push his bubble lawn mower around for hours. Mainly just up and down the drive way to the porch and back. Occasionally he will head to the next drive way and wave bye bye, but he comes back.

He has noticed that the girls across the street have some cool bikes and toys. They brought their scooter over Sunday night while we were out and Sean loved being pushed around on it.
Hadley did not want it and then I didn't think we were going to get her off of it to give it back!

While Sean is mowing Hadley is playing in the dirt or bugging Mom. So, yesterday I decided Hadley needed something to do outside and out came the sidewalk chalk! It was in the goody bags from Shawn's birthday party.

As you can see they both did quite well with it. Hadley did get hers taken away for putting it in her mouth. She is the only one (big surprise) that tried to write on things other than the driveway, but overall it was a fun success.

Today we went for a walk and soon we are going to head out and go to Costco or somewhere as we need to get out of the house or we might go stir crazy!

Hadley mission in life this week is to do anything and everything she is NOT supposed to do while saying NO NO or smiling while she runs away. She is a determined little........

But - isn't she gorgeous - just ask her?!

Sean has four teeth coming in and is a cranky boy because of it. Nothing but being outside makes him happy. But yesterday he did kick a little ball back and forth across the kitchen for some time and was quite proud of himself.
Check back soon for pictures of our new golf clubs! We bought some last night and Mommy opened them this morning..........
