Potty Training ?!?!?!?

Hadley has been showing signs of understanding and interest in going potty in the big potty for some time now. I was anxious to see how she would react to seeing her big cousins actually doing it.
Here you can see that she was very interested in the process.

Her brother - not to be left out or "uninterested" had to be in on the action as well.

"Aunt" Jennifer even allowed her a turn to see what it is like to sit on the potty, but not sure if she liked it or not. Or if it was just because she was ready to get down and Mommy was trying to take her picture. She continues to talk about Pee Pee, pretend to wipe herself and both will say bye bye when anyone flushes the toilet. So, should I be monopolizing on this interest??

Today I put Hadley on the potty right after lunch as I could tell she was pooping. She sat there and was fine and thought she was a big girl. Nothing happened, but we did wipe and flush the poop from the diaper. So, then again not to be out done - we had to give Sean a turn to sit on the potty. Like a typical male - he just wanted to play with his Pee Pee and then get down. Stay tuned!

Here is the only picture I got with five out of six of the monkeys from a few weekends ago. This was after an afternoon of swimming and eating dinner outdoors.

Lunch time - we had to eat in shifts and pull up extra chairs. Not sure where Hadley and Sam are, but they must have already eaten.

Here is snack time......notice all the water shoes lined up on the table! And who's kid is that climbing on the table?!?!?! Some one should teach him some manners! Jared & Jen's kids picked up having to put their cups in koozies very quickly as Sean & Hadley love to put their cups in one.

And last, but not least - here is where Jared & Jen found Sean on Monday morning while I was taking a shower..........what can I say?!

It is great that the kids are taking an interest in potty training, but they are really young. I would pursue the training if they are interested. But don't push them, when they are a little older it will be easier for all of you. :-)
