Fun day at the Lake

Yesterday was Karen's birthday - so to celebrate we went to the lake today. Her aunt has a boat (big boat- that I forgot to get a picture of) in a nice slip right here near our house.

Mark blew up a big float - here are Karen and Kate hanging out on it before the rest of us joined them.
In the empty slip next to us Kate got dunked by her Daddy, then Hadley was getting dunked by her Daddy - so, Sean went to the next available Daddy - Mike and begged for his turn. They both loved this! They were great at putting on the life jackets and leaving them on as long as we asked them to.
Here are Daddy, Sean and Hadley on the float with Karen and Kate. Wish we could have snapped a shot with 5/6 adults and all five babies (and the seven ducks in the slip with us).

Karen brought her pack n play and our kids actually asked to be in it! I would have never guessed or I would have brought ours out there too!

We had a great time and hope to do it again soon!
