First Sentence and other things......

Hadley's first ponytail!

I bought her some pony tail holders last week. They don't stay in much longer than 30 minutes, but we are getting there!
Below is where I started blogging this morning - this is where Hadley was when I finished. So, I had to snap a picture and add it for you to see. Then decided to add the ponytail shots too.
Enjoy!

Hadley's first sentence is Bye Bye Da Da. She began saying it Monday.
Daddy says Sean's first sentence is Uh- Oh Ball! I suppose that counts.
Both are communicating more and more - especially Hadley. Sean's favorite answer is "no" very sweetly with a smile on his face, because I laughed the first time he did it and he sounded so cute. Now he knows how to make me smile.

Both will put their hands up when you say "touchdown". Yesterday, I got them both to "wave the wheat" (the Kansas fans understand). Uncle Ryan thought that was cute when he was here last night.
Sean has down giving some one "knuckles". I just started working with Hadley yesterday. She goes to do it, but does not have her hand in a fist.

I have created a basketball monster with Sean. I put him in the computer chair and rolled him to his basket on Friday. Now he wants to do it two or three times a day and Mommy is his re bounder, ball getter. Thank goodness we have LOTS of balls!

Bye Bye still stands for leaving, going outside and night night for Sean.

Both just wanted on my lap to type, so I let them leave you a message.

If you get a call from our house (or cell phones) and no one is there or you don't know why - it might be because they both love telephones. Hadley just brought me the remote......cause she knows she is not supposed to have it. She came to flaunt that she did.

Yesterday we went to Toys R Us and got back packs, lunch boxes and nap mats getting ready for school! I know they don't start until September, but wanted to get them before they were all picked over and it was still hard to find good ones. Two days a week- Tues & Thurs. from 9 am to 2 pm at our church.

We have company/family in town every weekend for the next four weekends. We are looking forward to having others to play with! There is more, but I will stop for now. Check back soon.
Love to you all,
The Texas Keenen's
