Good Wednesday to everyone. Since I started the original website of our children I have probably only posted at most 2 maybe 3 times. Though I must say that my wife has done an excellent job keeping up with the blog and keeping everyone informed. Make sure you click on the picture to see a larger version of it. I am not good at creating one picture from multiples.
(Editor's Note: The little pictures are Sean on left and Hadley on right with all the towels around her, the new/big pictures are the opposite. Notice how dark Sean's hair was and now Hadley's is darker than his. thanks, EK)

Well last night Erynn got home from church with the kids and they were both sacked out in their car seats and it made us remember the time almost a year ago when Sean and Hadley were getting ready to join us at home for the first time after about a month stay in the NICU. I remember Sean looking so much bigger in the car seat then Hadley.

Poor Hadley didn't pass the car seat test the first time but not because of her. Grammy will remember this story as her and Pop were here with us helping out. Sean was home by this time so each evening I would go over to see Hadley. Grammy would go with me. The nurse was putting Hadley into the car seat and damn near clipped her chin off when she tried to buckle the plastic harness across her chest. Well needless to say Hadley was not a happy camper and she completely threw a fit, as would anyone else. Keep in mind that this would be like King Kong forceible snapping the buckle of a (King Kong Size) car seat belt under your chin. It wasn't like oh, I almost got her chin. It was daddy and grammy gasping and having to tell the nurse what she did.

They proceeded with the test but Hadley had to keep her vital signs in check and since she was so upset and probably feeling pain she didn't do well. The next day we told the head nurse what had happened and they redid the car seat test and she passed with flying colors.

Now almost a year later they are both almost ready to go to the next size car seat. What a wonderful year it has been and can't wait to see what the next year brings.

Thats all from me and Thank you Erynn for being such a wonderful mother, wonderful wife and the best Blogger in the family.
