As Pat posted this morning we went to the park yesterday to have some fun on their new big bikes!Last week we had several chances to get out and ride on the bikes.
Each time they got better and needed me right behind them less and less.
Saturday was the first time we went all the way around the block with them riding and us walking.
We mainly go back and forth in front of four houses on our street.
Todd and Gabriel came with us and took a spin on his new big bike he got for Christmas.
Sean and Hadley just took off and I had to run to catch them just to take these pictures!
Hadley was more interested in playing than riding, but she did ride some and did very well.
When we got home Sean was able to turn himself around in the neighbors driveways something he could not do the day before!Good news I don't have to be two places at once chasing them to help any more, but we still need to work on stopping and using breaks.
Both have had some spills and scrapped up a hand, elbow or knee - but no tears yet! We are going to have a blast this spring and summer on the big bikes!! Thanks Grandma & Papa
