The last family Christmas on the road - the Henderson's

Christmas with my Mom's side of the family on 12/26 at Uncle Chuck & Aunt Margie's house.

My Mom's six grand kids and Rylee (C&M's granddaughter) got to open theirs first.

Blake was happy to finally get a snuggie!

All the girls got one the day before.

Gentry got something from her cousins. Cups from a KU game. Something for her new apartment in Seattle (yes, she is back in WA again)!


Then it was time for the rest of us to do our exchange.

We pick numbers and then select from the collection of presents or steal an already open present from another family member.

Kate opened the shovel first, but she did not go home with it.

It's so hum....what's the best word here?

Anyway, we have to keep a notebook of presents and review it.

Once a present has been stolen 3 times it is DEAD and no one else can get it (otherwise, we might be there ALL NIGHT)!

But, it's all good fun and everyone goes home with something. There are usually many gift cards, lots of KU stuff and some alcohol too! Remember this is the family aka: The Griswold's!
