Week long trip to KC

Last weekend - everything in Texas was canceled due to swine flu. Then it was yucky and rainy out, so it was even harder to find things to do.

I was sure school would get canceled as several districts were already canceled, so I decided to head north on Monday morning instead of Thursday afternoon.

We left at 7:45 am and were in Mom's driveway by 4:15 pm. The kids were very good.


Here they are playing with their cousin, Beth.

Hadley latched on to a box of Grandma's and it became hers all week. Here she is stacking an entire box of jumbo paper clips into her coffee cup.

Sean playing under the coffee table with his cars. His new favorite thing is making "parking lots".


Here is Sean helping Papa mow the back yard on Thursday evening. It was quite a riot! Especially since he thought the mower was "loud"!













Meanwhile, Hadley was inside with Grandma helping her and Regan go through boxes looking for pictures, letters, etc to share at the family reunion on Saturday.

We had lots of fun with cousins every day and we stayed very busy! More to follow.
