Easter Bunny Visit with Aunt Gentry

So, on Tuesday I was determined to get caught up and then well......the rest of the week - where did it go? I know, but trust me you don't want to hear about it.

Anyway, here we are two weeks ago on Saturday, March 21st while Aunt Gentry was in town. We went to a Butterfly Eggstravaganza at a local mall. They were releasing butterflies. We thought that might be pretty cool.

So, we went up to the second level thinking it would be a prime spot to see all the butterflies.

We however were expecting there to be like 200 or so and there were more like 10-12.

Here is the Easter Bunny in the fashion show.

And here is the butterfly release - can't you see them?!?!?

We then stood in line to "see" the Easter Bunny or aka: spend an arm and a leg to get a picture with him/her. See the side bar for that picture which I did post two weeks ago.

We or I had to bribe Hadley to sit for the picture. She was not on his lap and only there because her Bubby Sean was doing it and she was promised a balloon animal if she did.

So, she is not smiling, but yet living up to her end of our "deal"! She is no dummy!

Here they are hanging with Aunt Gentsy (as Hadley says it) patiently waiting for their balloons.

Sunday morning, March 22nd while Daddy was working in the yard our own little Easter Bunny decided to hop into the swimming pool.

Gentry went out to help fish it back out of the water.

Here is Hadley headed to check it out in the pool net.

Here it is still in the net - it was a small one!

We then took it to the front yard and released it (so, it would not go back in the pool a THIRD time). Cute little thing. The kids enjoyed seeing it.

Every time we went outside for the next couple days we were told it went home to it's Mommy.

A raw shot of just Pat and I! thanks, Gentry.

Hadley is getting - what am I saying - is so INDEPENDENT. She helps change her own diaper and her brother's if you let her.

How nice of Daddy to let her help. They both really enjoy "helping out" these days. And are pretty good helpers too!

By the end of her third day - she had some little ones loving on their Aunt Gentsy!

Tired ones too! He LOVES his little blue baby and he is a wonderful Daddy to "blue" also!

But, in the end Daddy's boy ended up laying with his Daddy before bed time!

Hadley burnt her finger on Friday on the griddle for our Grilled Cheese Sandwiches.

This was several days later and her blisters. Not sure if you can tell, but it's now finally all healed up. Bless her little heart (as Grandma said when we told her).

Check back - I'll finally have to skip something to get caught up, but it's Easter and there are so many fun things going on !
